War hero Harry, 97, loses battle

A WAR veteran who won a Mirror Pride of Britain award for helping others has died from Covid-19 at 97.

North Shields, North Tyneside, was a rear gunner in Halifax bombers. He went on to raise thousands for good causes. Grandson
