CHINA CRISIS WORRIES

-

The threat of a new trade war between the US and China hit global stock markets yesterday.

Investors were jittery after the White House criticised China over the Covid-19 pandemic, fuelling fears of a renewed breakdown in relations between the two economic giants.

Nearly £400billion was wiped off stock markets yesterday, although although the UK’s FTSE 100 index was only marginally down.
