OLD TRAFFORD legend Bryan Robson was preparing to do battle with Alex Ferguson, both promising it was no time for sentiment.

Robson’s Middlesbrough needed a win to maintain their hopes of staying up, while United wanted the points as they closed in on the Prem title.

It was going so well for a Boro side containing Juninho and current Watford boss Nigel Pearson. They led 3-1 at one stage but United snatched a 3-3 draw. They sealed the title the following day, while luckless Boro went down.
