I want to Swinn Strictly

- LOST with Ashleigh Rainbird

Former England cricketer Graeme Swann claims he was “robbed” on Strictly Come Dancing and wants to return to the BBC competition to claim his rightful crown.

The sportsman finished seventh in the series in 2018 while paired with

who went on to win last year’s series with soap star

“I’ll make a comeback,” vows Swanny. “We were robbed. It’s not a competition, it’s a gameshow and they robbed me.

“This year they let Oti win. They put her with a far less attractive and less amusing but far better dancing partner, and they won it,” he adds, mischievously. “But the ratings plummeted.”

Thanks to Oti’s coaching, Graeme’s dancefloor skills impressed Indian former cricketer

so much, he invited the 41-yearold to show off his skills in India.

“He wanted to take me around the country dancing in theatres,” Graeme tells

Graeme & Oti commentator “That would have been a good laugh actually.

“I’m ready to take India by storm on the dancefloor – I’m waiting for the multimillion pound offer.”

Meanwhile, Graeme says he has spent lockdown trying to teach his nine-year-old son, Wilfred, how to bowl – only to find his own skills lambasted.

“He looked at my grip and said, ‘That’s not right, dad’,” laughs Graeme.

“He was shown how to do it at school the English way to coach – which is completely wrong. That’s why England don’t have very good spin bowlers, because they teach it wrong.”

Phillip Schofield has reached the “drinking straight from a jeroboam of gin” point of lockdown.
