N’GOLO KANTE has been summonsed to appear in court to settle a £3.4million legal battle with a former agent.
The Chelsea midfielder, back in training but working on his own after fears for his health during the coronavirus crisis, has been served a summons over a dispute stretching back to 2016.
The France World Cup winner’s former agent Nouari Khiari alleges Kante still owes him £3.4m from that year, when Kante signed a lucrative sponsorship deal with adidas. Khiari’s lawyer Yassine Maharsi said: “This summons is a logical and legal result.”
