‘Celebrating’ fans shame

■ The so-called Liverpool fans who engaged in violent and reckless behaviour to ‘celebrate’ the Premier League title win have disgraced the club and are an embarrassment to the whole of Merseyside.

Attacks on police at the Pier Head, damage to the Liver Buildings, as well as other anti-social behaviour are totally unacceptable.

There are a small minority of cowards and vandals who hide in crowds all around the country at protests and marches and cause these events to be spoilt.

Anyone convicted of criminal behaviour should be given the harshest sentences possible.
