DRAMA Christopher Price
AN amateur actor was beaten up by an audience member who heckled him during a Christmas show.
After starring in the Alan Ayckbourn comedy, Season’s Greetings, Christopher Price, 65, accused Howard Osborne, 66, of spoiling it, saying: “You had more lines than I did.”
Osborne later went to Mr Price’s dressing room, and said: “You’ve got five seconds to apologise or I’ll punch you through that wall”. He then punched him several times, Norwich magistrates were told
The retired accountant, from Saxlingham Nethergate, Norfolk, admitted ABH and was fined £750.
Christopher, of Norwich, said: “The actor’s dressing room is a sanctuary... it was violated. I don’t know if I’ll go on stage there again.”
