CHRIS: WE WALK ON THE WILD SIDE

CHRIS WILDER said none of his players would get into Chelsea’s side – but he would not swap them for the world.

Wilder, who has retained the bulk of the squad that gained promotion last season, said: “We shop in a different place to everyone else, and it’s certainly not Waitrose, but there are talented boys out there. We’ve picked up a few bargains and we’re not embarrassed about that.”

The Blades boss (left) went on: “Everybody keeps telling me none of the Sheffield United players would get in the Chelsea side, and possibly they wouldn’t. But it’s not all about that. Our players have shown a lot of qualities. You play the cards you are dealt with and we try to be the best doing it our way.”
