Trio guilty of stabbing lad outside KFC

A BAR worker was raped and murdered by a friend she trusted to walk her home after a night out, a jury has heard.
Keeley Bunker, 20, refused a pal’s offer of a bed for the night, saying that Wesley Streete, also 20, would escort her back safely.
But she did not arrive home. Her body was found in a pond in parkland the next night by her uncle.
Prosecutor Jacob Hallam said Keeley and best friend Monique Riggon watched rapper Aitch in Birmingham in September before they went clubbing with Streete.
The court heard that after the trio got a taxi back to Keeley’s hometown of Tamworth, Staffs, Monique offered her a bed.
Mr Hallam said: “Keeley refused – tragically – saying she... wanted to sleep in her own bed.
“She told her friend ‘I’ve got Wes, Wes lives near me. Wes will walk me back – it’ll be fine’.”
Keeley’s dad reported her missing. Her uncle was searching a park in Tamworth when he found her partially clothed body covered in branches. Mr Hallam said: “He spotted matted hair in the pool,

Streete, of no fixed address, denies raping and murdering Keeley. He also denies a further two counts of rape, three sex assaults and one count of sexual activity with a child, relating to three other alleged victims. The trial continues.

MURDERED Yousef Beker
THREE teenagers have been found guilty of stabbing a 17-year-old boy to death in a “sudden, brutal and deadly” street attack.
Yousef Beker was knifed and kicked as he lay helpless on the ground outside a KFC in North West London, on September 10 last year.
Prosecutor Tim Cray had told the Old Bailey that Yousef “never stood a chance” after the “trouble started pretty quickly”.
He was chased following a row earlier in the day.
Zeshaun Daley, 19, and a boy aged 17 were found guilty of murder and having an offensive weapon.
A 17-year-old youth was convicted of manslaughter.
They await sentence, while three other defendants were cleared.
