Family distraught after day-trip beach tragedy
TUCKING IN Time to eat
ONE in five Brits admits skipping breakfast and not eating a meal until midday.
A survey found those who eat in the morning do so at 8.14am on average.
But 48% of breakfast dodgers fill up on coffee, compared to just 40% of those who do have one.
The study, by OnePoll for Fuel10K, found those who breakfast are more likely to feel productive – 34% versus 24% – and motivated, 24% to 17%.
Morning eaters were also happier at work, more upbeat generally and less likely to feel tired.
Lucy, 33, of Instagram fitness duo the West Twins, said: “I have always preached, as a personal trainer, that having a nutritional breakfast provides your body with the energy you need to get going.
“I’ll never go without.”
