Film gangster Foggy is now the Codfather
A MOVIE hard man who once battered Brad Pitt has swapped making films for making fish and chips.
Adam ‘Foggy’ Fogerty, 51 – best known as gangster Gorgeous George in Brad’s crime caper Snatch – gave up the bright lights of Hollywood for a chippy in his hometown Halifax.
The dad-of-two also starred with Daniel Craig, Robert De Niro and Dame Helen Mirren.
And he was a boxer and rugby league forward, winning the Super League title with St Helens in 1996.
His chippy was run by a man called Bob Kemp, who died in July.
Adam said: “I fell in love with fish and chips because of him. I’ve had some great life experiences and met amazing people, but Halifax is home.”
