MOYES AIMS TO IRON OUT DUFFY DEAL
WEST HAM are considering a £10million move for Brighton’s Republic of Ireland centre-back Shane Duffy.
Duffy has fallen out of favour at the Amex Stadium under manager Graham Potter, with just 12 starts all season. Hammers boss David Moyes knows Duffy, 28, (left) well, having given the Irishman his debut as a 17-year-old when he was the manager at Everton. Brighton’s signing of Ajax defender Joel Veltman this week seems to have pushed Duffy further down the pecking order, even though he still has three years left on his contract.
And West Ham, who made an inquiry about the former Blackburn defender in January, are now ready to move in.
