EVERTON fought back to beat Super League champions Chelsea 2-1 and grab a spot in the Women’s FA Cup semi-finals.
Erin Cuthbert gave the visitors an early lead at Goodison but Lucy Graham headed the Toffees level before Valerie Gauvin (right) hit the winner.

Everton (celebrating above) will face Birmingham in Wednesday’s semi after their 4-2 penalty shoot-out win over Brighton. Birmingham opened the scoring courtesy of Sarah Mayling, before Brighton drew level through captain Danielle Bowman’s calm spot-kick.
Mollie Green restored City’s lead with an early second-half penalty but Brighton upped the intensity and were rewarded with Denise O’Sullivan’s lastminute equaliser.
Extra-time saw a flurry of opportunities but neither side could break the deadlock as the match headed for a shoot-out.
