Bryson: I’ll muscle in at Masters
BRYSON DECHAMBEAU will pile on the pounds in a bid to swing at 200mph at the Masters.
The US Open champion (above) will not play again before the final Major of the year – on November 12 – for an assault at Augusta.
DeChambeau, 6ft 1in and weighing 16st 11lbs, reached a ball speed of 199mph finishing tied eighth at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas.
But The Scientist warned: “I’m going to be working out like crazy. I’ll be getting myself up to hopefully around 245Ibs (17st 7lbs) in weight.”
US-based Scot Martin Laird won the Shriners.
