PM IS A BIG MISTAKE
It must be a shock for Boris Johnson that Brexit talks are continuing after he had declared them over.
But I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised that he was mistaken ken by the negotiations when he’s wrong about everything else. e.
Predictions are hazardous s when the egotist who never wanted to leave the EU, siding g with Out in a referendum he thought he would lose merely y as a tactical move to be PM, lost control long ago.
My hunch remains that Downing Street’s toys-out-of-the-pram routine is a smokescreen smok before Johnson sig signs a bad deal which he will present as a huge victory. Red wall Tories who gave hi him an 80-seat majority have mo most to lose if there’s no deal wh when jobs in their areas would disp disproportionately go to the wall.
SADIQ Khan is right about Johnson blatantly lying when claiming that London’s Mayor bankrupted the capital’s public transport system – coronavirus did that. But Sadiq, above, is lucky when it comes to his Tory opponent in the mayoral race. Tory lightweight Shaun Bailey has been sending journalists flip flops with Khan’s face on and making a comically bad Great British Bake Off spoof. Khan will have the last laugh by winning the election in May.
“It was a mistake...e it clearly undundermined the Government’s coherent narrative about people following the rules.” Ex-civil service head Mark Sedwill confirmed what we knew: the PM pretending chief aide Dominic Cummings didn’t break lockdown was disastrous.
