Corrie’s Vic: I’m expecting January baby

CORONATION Street star Victoria Ekanoye is expecting her first child with boyfriend Jonny Lomas.

Victoria, 37, best known for playing Angie Appleton in the ITV soap between 2017 and 2019, is six months pregnant and due to give birth in January.

Victoria told Hello! magazine: “We thought we would try next year. So when this came along we were like: ‘It’s happening… it’s unbelievably exciting.”

They waited before announcing the news partly because Victoria has sickle cell anaemia, a genetic blood cell disorder.

She said: “With my condition, we wanted a bit more security and stability in knowing everything is OK with baby and me.”
