Payback time as Ant & Dec endure three Bushtucker Trials themselves
IT’S payback time for Bushtucker Trial tormentors Ant and Dec in a 20th anniversary I’m A Celebrity special.
The stomach- churning scenes were filmed after joker Joel Dommett challenged the hosts on set last year.
Both reluctantly agreed to take part in three trials, with Dec saying: “Oh my days, what are we doing?”
On arrival, Dec said: “I’m paralysed with fear.” Ant joked: “I feel this is payback. They’re just going to throw everything at us.”
The first trial was Catch A Falling Star. Dec laughed as Ant’s star fell on him in a mix of smelly green slime – but Ant reminded him: “This’ll be so much better when I watch you do it.”
The next trial was Face Your Fears, in which giant spiders were poured into a clear helmet Dec was wearing.
Ant had to face his fear of snakes, with six large ones in his helmet.
Finally came a dreaded eating trial, with a witchetty grub, vomit fruit and a fish eye for Ant and a fermented duck egg, blended cockroach and pig penis for Dec.
The 20th edition of the show starts in a few weeks with stars including Vernon Kay and Mo Farah.
