Living up to their moniker, many are rallying under an interestin­g hashtag… #Wedonotcon­cent (sic). According to the Oxford English Dictionary, “concent” is actually a musical term for people singing together harmonious­ly. The only time “consent” (the word they seemed to be going for) had a second “c” was in the 1500s.

So, there are only two ways their hashtag makes sense.

Either they’re stuck in the dark ages… or, when it comes to prioritisi­ng lives, we’re not all singing from the same hymn sheet.
