MY AMAZING ARTWORK

-

These stark trees outlined against a multicoloured dusk in the fens by David Brown in Huntingdon, Cambs, have been chosen to hang in today’s art gallery.

The 70-year-old amateur artist says he is inspired to paint by his three granddaughters, Angel, 21, Imogen, 18, and Cerys, 12.

He says: “Angel and her partner are going to university in Leeds. Imogen is in Latvia and travelling around Europe, and Cerys has been looking forward to returning to school.

“All of them are having to deal with Covid in different ways. I think we all can learn from their resolve, instead of blaming them for the increase in cases.”
