‘NO SUBSTITUTE FOR KOP CLASS’

-

LIVERPOOL have the belief they can always find a way to win – because of their quality in depth.

That was the message from Xherdhan Shaqiri (above, with boss Jurgen Klopp) who, along with Diogo Jota, came off the bench to seal a dramatic victory over West Ham. The Reds laboured against the Hammers but Klopp’s changes

made the difference, and Shaqiri said: “The subs always try to change the game and that’s what we did. Diogo and I are players who can decide games. You have to believe until the end...we did.” d.”

Shaqiri has been in fine form since recovering from the injury problems that have blighted much of his last year r at Anfield. And he admitted he is enjoying the freedom that brings. “It’s been hard for me until now. I’ve tried to stay fit and I hope it stays like

this.”
