GILLINGHAM SUNDERLAND
Maguire 84 pen, Gooch 90
BLACKPOOL Yates 21, 75 pen
NEIL CRITCHLEY has told Blackpool to build on a first away win in over a year when they face Wigan tomorrow.
The Seasiders boss said: “We’ve got to back this win up on Tuesday night. We’ve got to go on a run and get used to winning games.”
Blackpool forward Jerry Yates struck twice, either side of a Daniel Gretarsson own goal.
KEEPER Lee Burge is sure Sunderland are over their defensive wobble.
Burge’s penalty save from Jordan Graham got a clean sheet after Black Cats shipped five in the last two league games.
He said: “A couple of things dropped but we know what it takes to keep building on this clean-sheet mentality.”
Gillingham’s Alex MacDonald was sent off on the hour.
