PREM SIDES EYE MARTIN AS NOU BOY
BARCELONA striker Martin Braithwaite wants to fight for his place at the
Nou Camp despite January transfer window interest from the Premier League.
The Denmark star, 29, (below) was involved in a shock switch from Leganes in February when the Catalans were given special dispensation to make an emergency signing because of injuries.
Barca are facing financial problems and are ready to offload players in January, with Premier League clubs including West Ham, Leeds and West Brom sounded out by agents.
Former Middlesbrough forward Braithwaite said: “I am where I always dreamed of and you can only improve if you are here. Many things are happening, but I only focus on those I can control.”
