Biker tried to pull fast one

A SPEEDING biker tried to hide his identity by putting on a French accent when police flagged him down.

The officer who stopped him on the A27 found the motorcycle was registered in the UK, despite having French number plates.

Its rider had an expired licence and no insurance.

PC Glen McArthur of Sussex Police said online: “This little tinker thought he’d run around on French plates to avoid insurance.

“His fake accent was somewhat comical. Au revoir, licence.”
