CAPTAIN Tom Moore’s heroics have been named as the highlight of a coronavirus-blighted 2020.
The 100-year-old, whose charity walk raised millions for the NHS, topped the list of 50 in a poll of 2,000 adults.
Marcus Rashford’s pioneering work helping to feed hungry children came in fourth followed by saving money.
Nearly half of those polled think they will emerge from this year stronger.
Ashley Mealor, of Vision Direct, who commissioned the survey, said: “There was actually lots to smile about.”
