Bake Off’s Prue, 80, so happy to get painless jab
TV star Prue Leith has encouraged her fans to follow her example and get the coronavirus vaccine as soon as they are offered it.
The Great British Bake Off judge, 80, posted an image of the procedure and said: “Who wouldn’t want immunity from Covid-19 with a painless jab?”
She will be given a booster in 21 days to ensure the best chance of being protected.
Prue, who put her home in the Cotswolds up for sale last month, was praised for sharing her experience online.
One fan said: “Well done, Prue. It doesn’t hurt, protects the most vulnerable and works.”
The star finished filming the latest series of the Channel 4 hit in August, after it was interrupted by the national lockdown.
