Motsi defends Shirley after Ranvir’s exit
STRICTLY Come Dancing’s Motsi Mabuse has hit back at trolls who targeted head judge Shirley Ballas.
Shirley’s decision to kick out Good Morning Britain’s Ranvir Singh and save Jamie Laing led to a backlash as it was reality star Jamie’s fourth dance-off and Ranvir scored higher.
Defending her fellow judge, Motsi wrote on Instagram: “Attacking her is attacking me. Everyone that is part of my community knows that we support, we love and we spread love. Support other women. Period.”
Among those criticising the axing of Ranvir were Strictly’s former stars Arlene Phillips and James Jordan, and her co-presenter Piers Morgan.
