‘No hope’ for life fight girl

-

A MEDIC caring for a girl at the centre of a life-support dispute has told a judge doctors would keep treating her if they thought she would ever recover.

Pippa Knight, five, is in a vegetative state at the Evelina Children’s Hospital in London. Doctors wish to withdraw life support, but mum Paula Parfitt, 41, of Strood, Kent, disagrees.

The medic, who cannot be named, told Mr Justice Poole: “There is no evidence that Pippa is going to improve.” The High Court case continues.
