Wales drops

EX-PATS are reminding themselves of home this Christmas – by buying up bottles of Welsh rain.

A gift firm has been shipping them to homesick shoppers in Hong Kong, Australia and the USA, who pay £6.50 for 100ml of downpour drops.

Buyers dreaming of a wet Christmas can snap up one of two options - Cardiff Rain or Rain from Wales, all bottled from the same site in Roath, Cardiff.

Online shop I Loves The Diff says: “This might just be the perfect gift for those who have everything but haven’t enjoyed a Welsh downpour in a while.

“Now you can imitate a typical wet Welsh summer’s day anywhere and at any time.”

The rain is not drinkable, buyers are warned.
