VICKY MCCLURE’S
BBC1, 7.30pm
When Line Of Duty actor Vicky McClure took to the stage with a choir of people all living with dementia a couple of years ago, it was a heartrending moment that left viewers with goosebumps.
Now she’s back to tell the story of that choir through lockdown.
Vicky says: “As ever, they speak with such honesty, finding humour when it’s needed most. They are determined to continue giving people hope.”
Vicky also reveals a special Christmas performance at the London Coliseum with one choir member and members of the English National Opera.
Mick suffers from dementia and is living out his bucket list while he can. His ultimate dream is to sing on stage one last time.
Expect poignant scenes as Mick arrives in London.
He knows he’s singing, but has no idea where or that Vicky has arranged for her co-star Adrian Dunbar to sing with him.
