JUDD TRUMP produced two brilliant centuries to snatch victory against Michael Holt at the World Grand Prix yesterday.

World No.1 Trump (right) ht) moved into the last 16 with a 4-3 win over the Hitman at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes.

Holt led the top seed 3-2 after breaks of 136 and 78. But the Juddernaut aut saved his best until last with efforts of 107 and 109, and insisted that he is in the form to claim a 13th major title in just 25 months.

Trump, taking his season’s centuries tally to a tour-leading 43, said: “It would be great to win again in 2020. It helps to know I have already won twice this season, so I don’t h have to worry about any anything, there is no p pressure.

“I worked hard over the summer and I don’t think it is a coincidenc­e t that I’ve had a good st start to the season.” T Trump will now face former world champion Stuart Bingham, who beat Li Hang 4-2. Ronnie O’Sullivan eased into the second round with a 4-1 win over Ali Carter.
