ADE SEALS LATE TYKES WIN

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY:

VICTOR ADEBOYEJO’S late strike kept the Tykes bandwagon rolling – with eight victories from 12 under Valerien Ismael.

Adeboyejo entered the fray in the 61st minute and with 10 minutes remaining he finished in style, taking Cauley Woodrow’s pass and firing past Declan Rudd.

Preston led through Sean Maguire’s second-minute header (left) but Barnsley skipper Alex Mowatt drew the hosts level before Adeboyejo clinched it.
