Three teens accused of lad’s murder
THREE teenagers appeared in court yesterday charged with murdering schoolboy Olly Stephens.
The autistic 13-year-old was stabbed in the neck in a park near his home on Sunday afternoon.
A passer- by and an off-duty doctor came to his aid, but Olly, of Reading, Berks, died at the scene.
A girl, aged 13, and two boys, aged 13 and 14, from Reading, went before magistrates, accused of murder and conspiracy to commit GBH.
The girl is also charged with perverting justice.
They were later remanded into youth detention by a judge at Reading crown court.
A provisional trial date has been set for June 21.
Two other boys, aged 13, were released on bail.
