Paying over odds for ’net
MILLIONS of families are paying over the odds for broadband because they fail to switch providers, industry analysis found.
On average those who have stuck with their provider for a year and a half have overpaid by £149, according to the research.
The study of 3,000 Brits by Uswitch.com revealed a fifth had never switched.
Richard Neudegg, the firm’s head of regulation, said: “It’s deeply disappointing that five million people are missing out.”
