BRITAIN’S biggest butty is the stuff of January health kick nightmares – but pass the sauce because we could all do with some major comfort food.

This whopper weighs more than 5lbs, stands a foot tall and is packed with a waist-expanding 4,000 calories.

Before lockdown, if you could munch your way through all of its layers in 40 minutes then you didn’t have to fork out on its £20 price tag.

The meal, which only six diners have finished, is the work of David Blackburn, 48, of Big Dave’s Cafe in Bromsgrove, Worcs. “It’s entertaining to watch.
