AJ: COUNT ME OUT IN 5 YEARS

- BY CHRIS McKENNA

ANTHONY JOSHUA reckons he has just five years left in boxing as talks continue over a Tyson Fury clash.

The pair are set to face each other for their undisputed heavyweight clash later this year, most likely in the Middle East.

But Joshua, 31, is already thinking about life after boxing.

“I’m always planning ahead so I’m coming towards the end of my career,” he told Sky Sports.

“Five years left and that’s basically an Olympic cycle. I’ve got an Olympic cycle and a little bit more left, so when you see the next Olympics is when I’ll be coming to the end of my career and the next generation will be coming through.”

Gypsy King Fury took to social media to mock WBA, IBF and WBO champion Joshua yesterday after the Watford warrior tweeted: “A great modern day fighter will be able to compete in any era.”

WBC champ Fury replied: “That’s you out the window then, chump! A great? My a***!”

IT might be over three months away but it will be some occasion, and hopefully with fans, when Spurs meet Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on April 25. Before then, they will meet once again in the Premier League

season in February at the Etihad. And though Guardiola has the better career record over Mourinho, the Spurs manager has won this League Cup on four occasions as the City boss looks to win it for the fourth time in a row.
