Sam’s nod for Snod
SAM ALLARDYCE believes Robert Snodgrass will give his West Brom flops a huge lift in their battle to beat the drop.
Snodgrass, 33, is poised to complete his free transfer from West Ham once he passes a medical.
He has made just six appearances for the Hammers this season.
But Allardyce said: “I’m absolutely delighted he’s chosen to take up the challenge and improve our quality and experience.
“He can play in many different positions and I’ve heard from a lot of people that he’s exceptionally good in the dressing room. Confidence is everything and we can only get that by achieving results.”
