Cycle aid call for over-65s

PENSIONERS should get help to buy cycling gear, an electric bike company says.

Pure Electric said a Government-backed 20% discount for over- 65s would boost their fitness.

It estimates around a million pensioners would take part over four years.

Bosses said it would build on the “successful” Cycle to Work scheme.
