YOUR MEMORIES

This is a photo of my lovely mother Jessie Coulter with one of her five brothers. She was born on Merseyside in 1903 so this must have been taken around 1910. Mum went on to live into her 90s and brought up three sons and a daughter, Jean, in the Second World War. I find it interesting that Mum is standing up and her brother is sitting down – so much for gentlemanly manners in Edwardian times!
