Ground too fast for Princess
TONY MULLINS has ruled stable star Princess Zoe out of a lucrative trip to Saudi Arabia.
Mullins had pencilled in next month’s big-money Saudi Cup fixture at Riyadh for the grey mare, who completed a fivestrong winning streak with a triumph in the Group 1 Prix du Cadran at Paris
Longchamp in October. But the likelihood of fast ground at the meeting has prompted a change of heart.
“We’ve decided against it,” said the trainer. “I’d love to go – we’d have loved the money – but we’ll do right by her and I want to run her with cut in the ground.”
