And Allardyce revealed he is keen to sign Bournemouth hitman Josh King (left) so long as the price is right.

“If he is in our price range then we’d be interested in him, but if he’s not then we won’t be,” admitted Allardyce, who has already recruited Scotland international midfielder Robert Snodgass as part of his Hawthorns rebuilding plans.

“Everybody knows what we need to do, we need to move players in this window and bring in players.”
