CONTE: WE BOTTLED IT

-

ANTONIO CONTE admitted his Inter Milan side paid for a loss of nerve after conceding a late equaliser in the 2-2 draw at Roma.

Milan Skriniar and Achraf Hakimi put Inter ahead after Lorenzo Pellegrini’s opener but Gianluca Mancini’s 86th-minute header denied Conte’s side the chance to move to within a point of Serie A leaders AC Milan.

Former Chelsea boss Conte said: “I think that at the end of the game there was anxiety to get an important result, which mentally causes you to drop deeper. We were asking them to press high, because sitting deep isn’t good.”

Sebastien Haller made his AJAX debut as a halftime substitute in the 2-2 home draw with PSV.

REAL MADRID missed the chance to move ahead of Atletico at the top of La Liga with a goalless stalemate at Osasuna.

Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann both struck twice as BARCELONA thumped GRANADA 4-0.
