QI recently sealed my new natural stone patio, but when it rains I get white streaks over the patio. How can I remove the sealer? Chris Nower, by email

I never recommend sealing agents. The paving has to be clean and bone dry before application then it must be maintained with more sealant and I find it gets patchy. Only the makers can tell you if it can be removed, but I think it soaks into the paving so I doubt you’ll have much success.
