GINI WIJNALDUM says Liverpool have been given the confidence to deliver a top-four finish.

The Dutch midfielder (below) says the Champions League performance against Real Madrid in midweek underlined the talent at Anfield, even though they crashed out.

“Everything was there against Madrid, a good performance, position play, counterpress, chances,” he said. “The one thing not there was goals. But the performance will give us hope. We have to stay confident and work hard to bring a good finish.”
