Sophie and Anne first on rota to see Queen

- EXCLUSIVE BY RUSSELL MYERS

PRINCESS Anne and Sophie Wessex will be among the Queen’s first visitors ahead of her birthday tomorrow.

The Queen, 94, will also be visited by her son Andrew, granddaughter Eugenie and her newborn son August in the coming days.

The Mirror yesterday revealed how the royals had agreed a rota to visit the Queen so she is not alone as she continues to grieve for her beloved husband Philip.

The monarch is hoping to take advantage of the good weather as much as possible to join family members to walk her two new corgi puppies Fergus and Muick.

The Duchess of Cornwall, who is also set to visit the Queen in the next few days, has dedicated the second

ROYAL ROTA Princess Anne season of her online book club in memory of “great fellow reader” Prince Philip.

Camilla, 73, shared a touching dedication to her late father-in-law with four personal picks, from fantasy novels to romantic tales.

The duchess wrote: “As Patron of Booktrust, which I inherited from my late father-in-law The Duke of Edinburgh, I would like to dedicate the next series of my Reading Room to him, in memory of a great fellow reader ..... C.”

The choices for her Reading Room, shared on Instagram, include Edna O’Brien’s Girl and The Red Notebook by Antoine Laurain.

The Duke of Edinburgh was patron of Booktrust, the UK’s largest children’s reading charity, for several years before passing the role on to Camilla in 2011.
