‘We have more chance of win at Eurovision’
“SCOTLAND have more chance of winning Eurovision than the European Championships.”
That was the view of Stephen Johnstone, from Ardentinny, Argyll and Bute after they lost 2-0 to the Czech Republic yesterday.
Around 9,000 supporters were inside Hampden Park to watch the game in which striker Patrik Schick scored from the halfway line.
And devastated fans were not hopeful about the “Battle of Britain” clash with England on Friday.
Andy Adams, from Kirkcaldy, Fife, said; “All the hype was a joke. Scotland are probably the worst team in the competition. Our best team ever? I’m dreading Friday.”
The Tartan Army is expected to descend on London for the match which kicks off at 8pm.
