NO one looks more surprised than Fedya that he’s doing so well after a shocking start in life.
In fact, this cat’s adorable startled expression has gained him an international fan base online.
The sickly stray was found by Natalia Zhdanova, 40, in her back garden when he was just a few days old – with wonky back legs and misaligned eyes.
She nursed the weak kitten with the help of next door’s cat, called Handsome, who would come over every day to lick and nurture him.
Natalia, who makes educational books for children in Rostov, Russia, added: “We’re not sure if it’s a genetic deformity or if he was dropped by his mum as a kitten.
“He was very weak and was dying. Handsome cleaned Fedya and became a father figure. They are the best of friends.”
