3,800 bones under home of ‘cannibal’

THOUSANDS of bone fragments have been dug up by police under the home of a suspected cannibal serial killer in Mexico.

They believe the 3,787 remains belong to at least 17 different victims.

Named only as Andres by prosecutor­s due to local laws, the former butcher, 72, has told a court he peeled the face off one alleged victim because she was “very pretty”.

The grisly claim came during a four-hour hearing in Mexico City where he is charged with killing the wife of a policeman.

Identity cards and other possession­s from people who disappeare­d years ago were also found at the property he rented out.
