GOOD NEWS Updated Moderna vaccine works against variants

The first updated Covid-19 vaccine, which has been designed to attack specific variants, has been shown to be successful against the South African and the Brazilian variants.

Moderna tested its regular vaccine and its updated vaccine as a booster in 40 people who’d had two standard doses. Both vaccines neutralised the two variants of concern, although the updated vaccine produced higher levels of antibodies.
