MASSACRE: PLYMOUTH MOURNS Survivor also caught in 2015 Tunisia terror

-

A SURVIVOR of Jake Davison’s rampage is also said to have escaped a mass shooting by a terrorist in Tunisia six years ago.

Ben Parsonage, 33, and his mum Michelle, 53, were both injured when Davison opened fire during his killing spree.

The front door of his mother’s home in Biddick Drive, Keyham – the road where Davison lived with his mum – was boarded up on Monday amid reports that the loner had blasted it with the weapon.

Mr Parsonage, a junior boxer, received a stomach wound but has already been discharged from hospital, while his mum has had surgery on her arm. They are both expected to make a full recovery, according to relatives. But shockingly this is thought to be the second time he has been caught in a live shooting.

He was forced to flee a beach in Tunisia in 2015 with his family after terrorist Seifeddine Rezgui massacred 38 holidaymakers with a Kalashnikov assault rifle, it has been reported. Rezgui was shot dead at the scene. Ben’s partner Gemma Pook, 30, said at the time: “My reaction was quite calm at first, but I did feel rather frightened and shaking as the event started to unfold. We were so shocked, we couldn’t believe what we had heard and seen. “I was very scared, everyone at the hotel was scared.”
