Stray bullet from drive-by hits 73yr-old
A PENSIONER was hit by a stray bullet in a drive-by shooting.
Joyce McGuinness, 73, was chatting to Andrew Stephens about a rowdy party by their flats when gunmen fired at the crowd.
One bullet hit her as she stood in her pyjamas.
Son Scott said it went through one of her legs and hit the other.
Joyce suffered a broken femur and knee cap.
Scott added: “For her age she’s in good nick and she’s had a few scares in the past but she’s a tough cookie so she’ll pull through.”
Two teenage girls, 17 and 19, and a man aged 28 were also wounded in Saturday’s 10pm shooting in Camden, North London.
They are all recovering in hospital. The Met is continuing to investigate.
